Tajik airliner makes emergency landing at Khudzhand

Nobody injured

DUSHANBE, May 24 (Itar-Tass) - A Boeing passenger plane of the Tajik Air national airline has made an emergency landing at the airport of destination in the Tajik city of Khudzhand, an airline source has told Tass. None of the 89 passengers and crew on board were injured, he said.

“The plane had to make an emergency landing because of a technical failure detected during the landing. The Boeing 737 airliner was flying over the city for a long time burning out fuel for safety reasons,” company sources have stressed. The plane was flying from Moscow’s Domodedovo airport.
