EMERCOM sends more relief for Syrian refugees in Lebanon

The plane will airlift foodstuffs, portable power stations and prime necessity goods

MOSCOW, May 22 (Itar-Tass) - The Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations has sent another batch of humanitarian aid for Syrian refugees in Lebanon, EMERCOM spokeswoman Irina Rossius told Tass on Wednesday.

She said “At 10:00 Moscow time an Il-76 aircraft took off for Beirut from Ramenskoye airfield outside Moscow. It carries over 27 tons of humanitarian cargo”.

In particular, this plane will airlift foodstuffs, portable power stations and prime necessity goods for Syrian refugees.
