ISLAMABAD, April 16 (Itar-Tass) – Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Air Force, Lieutenant-General Viktor Bondarev paid a working visit to Pakistan, the Russian Embassy in this South Asian country said on Tuesday.
The commander of the Russian Air Force visited this Islamic republic for the first time in the history of Russian-Pakistani relations.
During Bondarev’s visit in Islamabad he met with the military officials from the Pakistani army command. In particular, he had the negotiations with his Pakistani counterpart Tahir Rafiq Butt.
It was reported that the negotiators already discussed the condition and the prospects of cooperation between the Air Forces of the two countries in the Pakistani capital.
