Tourist from Russia killed in traffic accident in India

It was a second traffic accident in India over the past month in which Russian citizens had suffered

NEW DELHI, March 28 (Itar-Tass) -- A Russian woman has been killed in a popular Indian resort of Goa, the Russian embassy in India told Itar-Tass on Thursday.

The Foreigners' Registration Department in Goa informed the Russian embassy that Russian citizen Anna Korobskikh, who had been on vacation in Goa as a tourist, was killed in a traffic accident on March 24. The Russian woman received a brain injury incompatible with life. The Russian Consulate General in Mumbai has been looking for relatives of the victim, the embassy said.

It was a second traffic accident in India over the past month in which Russian citizens had suffered. In mid-March Maria Kostenevskaya from Moscow had her leg broken when a bus running from Goa to Mumbai fell from a bridge. The Russian woman, who was a passenger on board the bus, had a narrow escape and got off with a bone fracture.
