RF General Consulate in Mumbai gives all aid to Russian woman injured in road accident in India

The local police reported that 37 passengers were killed and 15 were brought to the local hospital

MOSCOW, March 19 (Itar-Tass) – The Russian General Consulate in Mumbai is giving to a Russian female citizen, who was injured in a road accident in India, all the necessary aid and assistance, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement, which was posted on the Facebook official account on Tuesday.

“Today a passenger bus going from Goa and belonging to the private transportation company Mahakali Travels has got in a road accident in the Indian state Maharashtra,” the ministry stated. “The road accident was caused by a mistake in the driving,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The local police reported that 37 passengers were killed and 15 were brought to the local hospital as a result of the road accident.

Russian citizen Maria Kostenevskaya is among wounded people, as she has got a closed hand fracture. She is undergoing treatment at the local hospital.
