Russian ice dance duet finished third at figure skating worlds in Canada

LONDON (CANADA), March 17 (Itar-Tass) – Russian ice dance duet Yekaterina Bobrova and Dmitry Solovyov has won a bronze medal at the World Figure Skating Championships in London (Canada). Their combined score after short and free programs was 169.19 points.

Americans Meryl Davis and Charley White were the gold medal winners (combined score 189.56) while Canada’s Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir finished 2nd (185.04) at figure skating worlds.

Russians Elena Ilyinykh and Nikita Katsalapov were ninth (157.52 points). Another Russian duet Yekaterina Ryazanova and Ilya Tkachenko (149.78 points) were 11th.
