LONDON (CANADA), March 15 (Itar-Tass) – Russian pair-skating duet, Tatyana Volosozhar and Maxim Tranknov, have won gold medals at the World Figure-Skating Championships in London (Canada). They scored 225.71 points in combination of short and free programs.
Aliona Savchenko and Robin Szolkowy of Germany (206.56 points) took silver. Canada’s Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford (204.56 points) were third with bronze medals.
Another two Russian pairs, Yuko Kawaguchi and Alexander Smirnov (191.59) and Vera Bazarova and Yuri Larionov (184.72) were the sixth and seventh, respectively.
