Russia provides 36 tonnes of relief supplies to Mali

MOSCOW, February 25 (Itar-Tass) – Russia has provided humanitarian aid to Mali, the Foreign Ministry said on Monday, February 25.

“Pursuant to the Russian Government’s decision and in connection with a request from the Government of Mali, an Emergencies Ministry plane has delivered anew shipment of humanitarian aid to Bamako on February 23. Food, tents and blankets in the total amount of 36 tonnes are intended for refugees and displaced persons, people in areas liberated from extremists,” the ministry said.
