MOSCOW, February 13 (Itar-Tass) – Moscow denied reports claiming that it had not been notified about a nuclear test ion North Korea.
“We were notified. It’s just that we did not think it necessary to make it public,” a highly-placed source in the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday, February 13.
Pyongyang carried out its third nuclear test on February 12. The explosion reportedly carried the force of up to 7 kilotonnes. The previous two tests were carried out in 2006 and 2009.
