MOSCOW, January 20 (Itar-Tass) – The second group of Russians hurt in an accident in south-eastern France will return home on Sunday night.
Head of Rostourism’s press service Irina Shchegolkova said 23 tourists would come to Russia by a flight of Aeroftot to Sheremetyevo airport.
The airport’s information service said “the flight is due to land as scheduled, at 16:45 Moscow time.”
Early morning on Sunday, flight Zu 8482 of Air Bashkortostan Company landed at Moscow’s Domodedovo airport at 02:43 Moscow time. It delivered twelve tourists.
According to the Russian embassy in France, seven Russians who were injured in the accident near the town of Chambery (Savoie prefecture) remain in French hospitals. "Four are in Chambery and the other three are in Grenoble,” the embassy source said.
A bus belonging to a French logistics company got into an accident in bad weather conditions near Chambery. It was carrying Russian tourists from the Chambery Alpine skiing resort to Grenoble airport.
"The driver lost control of the bus. As a result, the bus side slipped and fell on its side on the roadside,” a source at the Savoie prefecture said. There were no fatalities.
