MOSCOW, December 29 (Itar-Tass) — Over 85,000 Russian citizens visited Cuba in 2012, the office of Cuba’s Ministry of Tourism told Itar-Tass on Friday.
“This is a new record of our friendly relations linking Cuban and Russian nations and demonstration of deep and mutually kindly feelings,” the source said. “We are glad that Cuba attracts guests not only by its sun and beaches, but also by its bright history, culture and hospitality.”
According to the ministry, last year 46,000 Russian tourists visited Cuba.
