Airliner with 93 of people onboard crashes at Lusaka airport

Twenty people were saved

PRETORIA, December 10 (Itar-Tass) — A passenger airliner, which was carrying 93 people onboard, crashed in the landing at the international airport in Lusaka, Zambia’s capital, on Monday. Twenty people were saved.

The exact number of the crash victims is being specified, the airport authorities reported.

The McDonnell Douglas airliner was carrying 85 passengers and eight crewmembers, the flight controlling service of the airport reported.
