MOSCOW, April 16. /TASS/. Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali expects that the country’s President Ebrahim Raisi will take part in the BRICS summit that is set to be held in the Russian city of Kazan in October.

"The BRICS summit will take place in Kazan in October. I think that the Iranian president will participate in it as it has been added to his work schedule," the envoy said at a session of the National Oil and Gas Forum.

"This year, we are actively attending and participating in all BRICS events in Russia; we are taking part in them at the highest level," the envoy said.

Jalali also pointed to Russia’s plans to host 250 events at various levels and in various areas as part of its BRICS Presidency.
