Date for IDF operation in Rafah set - Netanyahu

Israel Prime Minister did not specify any concrete timeframe

TEL AVIV, April 8. /TASS/. Israel does not abandon its plans to carry out a military operation in the city of Rafah one the Gaza Strip border with Egypt, and its date has already been set, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said.

"Today, I received a detailed report on the talks in Cairo. We constantly work on achieving our goals - first and foremost, the liberation of all our hostages, and the achievement of a total victory over Hamas. This victory would require entering Rafah end elimination of terrorist battalions operating there. It will happen, the date has been set," the Prime Minister said, according to his office.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister did not specify any concrete timeframe.
