Drone fragments discovered in Moldova near Ukrainian border

According to the border agency, police officers and sappers have already arrived to the scene and cordoned it off

CHISINAU, April 4. /TASS/. Drone fragments were discovered in Moldova near the Ukrainian border, the Moldovan border police reported.

"Fragments of a Geran-2 drone were discovered 500 meters from the border near the settlement of Etulia, Vulcanesti District," the police said.

According to the border agency, police officers and sappers have already arrived to the scene and cordoned it off.

Previously, fragments of drones and S-300 air defense missiles have repeatedly been discovered in Moldova near the Ukrainian border. After one such incident, Russian Ambassador to Chisinau Oleg Vasnetsov was presented with a protest, even though the forensic examination determined that the missile was fired by the Ukrainian military.
