MARRAKESH, December 20. /TASS/. Russia, Arab states advocate prompt and simultaneous holding of parliamentary and presidential elections in Libya, says the outcome statement of the Russia-Arab Cooperation Forum that took place in Marrakesh.

The participants reaffirmed their support "for efforts to hold Libyan presidential and parliamentary elections simultaneously as soon as possible to meet the aspirations of the Libyan people to achieve security and stability," the document says.
