Six hostages transferred to Red Cross, leaving Gaza — IDF

TEL AVIV, December 1. /TASS/. The Israeli military received confirmation from the International Committee of the Red Cross that six Israeli hostages were transferred by the Hamas movement to Red Cross employees, the press service of the Israel Defense Forces says.

"Based on information that was received from the Red Cross, 6 Israeli hostages are on their way toward Israeli territory," the press service informed.

"The released hostages are currently making their way to Israel through Egypt to the meeting point with our soldiers at Kerem Shalom. Security officials will verify the identity of the released hostages at the meeting point," the press service added.

The group reached Israel, the IDF reported later. Hostages will later "will make their way to the Hatzerim Base where they will undergo an initial medical assessment," the IDF’s press service added.
