Publications in the US media that Russia may possibly use nuclear weapons in Ukraine suggest that Washington may be laying the information groundwork for a new false flag, but this time an apocalyptic one, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova blogged on her Telegram channel on Thursday.

"Recently, three American publications simultaneously speculated about how, when and why the Russians will drop the bomb. So, it’s thoughts rather than words that are ascribed to Russia’s representatives," the diplomat wrote.

"All this makes one think that maybe the US is laying the information groundwork for another provocation. An apocalyptic one this time," the diplomat stressed.
