VLADIVOSTOK, April 26. /TASS/. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s train departed from Vladivostok to North Korea, TASS reported from the railway station.

Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexander Kozlov, Primorsky Region Governor Oleg Kozhemyako, Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov and Russian Ambassador to North Korea Alexander Matsegora took part in the ceremony.

The train will go from Vladivostok by the Trans-Siberian Railway toward Ussuriysk to the Baranovsky railway station, where it will change to a one-track railroad line toward the border. The 300-km route from Vladivostok to the bordering Khasan station will take seven to nine hours.

Earlier on Friday, Kim Jong-un took part in the wreath-laying ceremony for the Eternal Flame near the Military Glory of the Pacific Fleet memorial.

Negotiations between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un were held on Thursday on Russky Island in Vladivostok. The leaders thoroughly discussed the state and prospects of interstate relations and dwelled on issues linked to the situation on the Korean Peninsula, in particular the denuclearization problem. The Vladivostok summit became the first face-to-face meeting between Putin and Kim Jong-un.
