North Korea’s leader may visit Pacific Fleet’s headquarters in Russia’s Vladivostok

It is not ruled out that Kim will meet with representatives of North Korea’s diaspora in Vladivostok

SEOUL, April 24. /TASS/. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s itinerary during his visit to Vladivostok may include the headquarters of Russia’s Pacific Fleet, an aquarium and also various food factories, South Korea’s YTN TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to experts, the trip to these sites shows North Korea’s citizens and the entire world that the visit’s agenda meets major goals of the country’s development in the areas of defense, economy, foreign policy and culture, earlier declared by Kim. The North Korean leader is expected to stay in Vladivostok until April 27.

During the visit to the Pacific Fleet’s headquarters Kim may go aboard a warship and look around a military museum. It’s highly likely that the North Korean leader will visit a city bakery and a number of other food factories, following the footsteps of his father, Kim Jong-il. This is aimed at showing North Korean citizens how the supreme leader cares about their life.

Besides, Kim may also visit a popular tourist attraction, a modern aquarium on Russky Island, which will be closed on Friday due to this reason. It is not ruled out that Kim will meet with representatives of North Korea’s diaspora in Vladivostok.
