Exit polls point to fiasco of Poroshenko’s Russophobic policy, says Ukrainian politician

Leader of Ukraine’s Opposition Platform For Life Viktor Medvedchuk said Poroshenko faced a "complete failure"

KIEV, April 21. /TASS/. Ukrainian incumbent President Pyotr Poroshenko’s crushing defeat in Sunday’s runoff polls, as indicated by exit poll results, can be interpreted as an overall fiasco of his Russophobic policy, leader of Ukraine’s Opposition Platform For Life Viktor Medvedchuk said on Sunday.

"Poroshenko’s complete failure in the elections is a response of Ukrainian citizens to his policy of anti-Russian hysteria and feral Russophobia raised to the rank of state policy," he wrote on his Twitter account.

According to the national exit poll results, candidate from the Servant of the People party, showman Vladimir Zelensky, is winning more than 73% of votes while Poroshenko is scoring support from some 25% of voters.
