Voter turnout in presidential election runoff stands 7.93%

Polling stations opened across Ukraine at 08:00 a.m.

KIEV, April 21. /TASS/. Ukraine’s Central Electoral Commission has reported a 7.93% turnout in the presidential election runoff being held on Sunday.

As follows from a report on the CEC’s website it relies on statistics from 4 of the 199 polling stations. It is expected that turnout statistics available from all polling stations at 11:00 will be reported at 13:00.

Polling stations opened across Ukraine at 08:00. The voters are to make a choice between the candidate from the Servant of the People party, Vladimir Zelensky and the incumbent Pyotr Poroshenko. The voting will end at 20:00.
