MOSCOW, April 18. /TASS/. Militants have shelled the north-western part of Syria's Aleppo over the last 24 hours, head of the Russian Center for reconciliation of the conflicting sides Viktor Kupchishin told reporters on Thursday.

"Over the last 24 hours, the north-western part of Aleppo — the Sheikh Masoud district — came under fire by militants," Kupchishin said.

He added that 57,636 people were granted amnesty as of April 17 over dodging military service, including refugees and former members of illegal armed groups.
