Most military voters in Donbass operation zone back Zelensky

The Central Election Commission referred to the data from nearly 60 out of 79 special ballot stations for the military

KIEV, April 1. /TASS/. Showman and head of the Servant of the People political party Vladimir Zelensky is winning more votes from ballot stations in the Donbass operation zone than incumbent Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko, the Central Election Commission said.

The CEC referred to the data from nearly 60 out of 79 special ballot stations for the military (65 in the Donetsk Region and 14 in the Lugansk Region).

The election authority has counted 50.18% of ballots from Sunday’s presidential election. According to the latest data, Zelensky is extending his lead over other candidates, winning 30.20% of the vote.
