Zelensky beating Poroshenko, as both contenders bound for runoff presidential race

All the exit polls confirm that Vladimir Zelensky and Pyotr Poroshenko are heading into the second round of the presidential election

KIEV, March 31. /TASS/. Presidential candidate nominated by the Servant of the People party Vladimir Zelensky and the current President Pyotr Poroshenko enter the second round of elections in Ukraine, according to the data of all exit polls conducted in the country.

According to the results of the National exit poll conducted by Alexander Razumkov’s Ukrainian Center for Economic and Political Studies, the Ilk Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation and the Kiev International Institute of Sociology, Zelensky received the support of 30.4% of voters, Poroshenko gained 17.8%.

Leader of the Batkivshchyna party Yulia Tymoshenko ranks third with 14.2%, while 9.8% of voters supported candidate from the Opposition Platform - For Life party Yuri Boyko.

Leader of the Civic Position party Anatoly Gritsenko received 7.1% while the remaining candidates won less than 7% of the vote.

The joint exit poll of the 112 Ukraina and Newsone TV channels, conducted by experts of the Austrian Institute for Social Research and Consulting SORA, together with the Ukrainian Social Monitoring Center, showed that Zelensky was gaining 30.7%, Poroshenko - 18.6%, Tymoshenko - 13.6%, Boyko - 10.3%, Gritsenko - 7.3%.

The exit poll, conducted by the Socis company, shows that Zelensky received 29.25%, Poroshenko - 19.9%, Tymoshenko - 13.75, Boyko - 9.24, Gritsenko - 7.91%.

TSN, part of the 1+1 Media Group, which belongs to tycoon Igor Kolomoisky also conducted its own exit poll. Before the election, Kolomoisky publicly supported Vladimir Zelensky. The exit poll shows that Zelensky received 30.1% of votes, Poroshenko -18.5%, Tymoshenko - 14%.

The organizers of exit polls noted that the results are not final, their processing continues, but they are close to the final ones.
