BRATISLAVA, March 17. /TASS/. Zuzuna Caputova and Maros Sefcovic have reached the second round of Slovakia's presidential election, the Central Electoral Commission told TASS on Sunday.
"After the first round of election held on Saturday, Zuzana Caputova and Maros Sefcovic have reached the second round," the commission said. "This is clear after the votes from 99.41% of polling stations were counted. Caputova received 40.54% of votes, Sefcovic — 18.66%," the commission added.
The second round of presidential election is scheduled for March 30.
Caputova, a lawyer from Pezinok in western Slovakia, serves as Deputy Chairperson of non-parliamentary party Progressive Slovakia.
Sefcovic currently serves as Vice-President of the European Commission.
