Venezuelan foreign minister meets with experts from UN human rights mission

The OHCHR press service said earlier that experts will visit Venezuela in the framework of technical mission on March 11-22

CARACAS, March 11. /TASS/. Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza has met with a group of experts from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on Monday.

"In the morning we met with representatives of the technical working mission of the Office of UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. We held a coordination and information conference, and discussed the situation with protecting human rights and offering social protections in Venezuela," Arreaza wrote on his official Twitter account.

He added that experts will soon visit Venezuela's "government agencies and authorities."

The OHCHR press service said earlier that experts will visit Venezuela in the framework of technical mission on March 11-22, where they plan to meet with government officials, parliament members, civil society organizations and victims of human rights violations.
