The Ukrainian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire ten times, firing a total of 91 munitions

DONETSK, March 9. /TASS/. The Ukrainian military violated the ceasefire ten times in the past 24 hours, shelling the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Head of the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said on Saturday.

"Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces violated the ceasefire ten times, firing a total of 91 munitions," the Donetsk News Agency quoted him as saying.

Ten DPR settlements came under fire. The Ukrainian military’s attacks involved 120 mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers, grenade launchers and other light weapons.

On March 7, the security subgroup of the Contact Group on resolving the situation in eastern Ukraine agreed to declare a spring ceasefire in Donbass starting on March 8. However, the Ukrainian military broke the ceasefire just five minutes after it had taken effect.
