MOSCOW, February 1. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump believes that his Hanoi talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un were very substantive, as he himself wrote on Twitter.
"Great to be back from Vietnam, an amazing place. We had very substantive negotiations with Kim Jong Un - we know what they want and they know what we must have. Relationship [is] very good, let’s see what happens!" the tweet reads.

Speaking to Fox News on Thursday, Trump was confident that the United States and North Korea would eventually reach agreements. The US president added that North Korea was not ready for complete denuclearization yet and suggested conducting a partial process.
Meanwhile, North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho told a briefing following the Hanoi summit that Pyongyang had requested Washington partially remove sanctions, particularly those affecting civilian industries and common people. According to the North Korean top diplomat, in return, Pyongyang suggested dismantling all nuclear facilities at the Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center. "We also vowed to suspend all missile and nuclear tests," he emphasized, adding that North Korea was ready to provide written guarantees.
On February 27-28, the Vietnamese capital hosted a summit between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. The parties did not sign a joint document but agreed to maintain dialogue.
