Venezuelan vice president discusses bilateral cooperation with Russian ambassador

CARACAS, February 14. /TASS/. Venezuelan Vice President for Economic Affairs Tareck El Aissami and Russian Ambassador to Caracas Vladimir Zaemsky have discussed strengthening bilateral economic cooperation, the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday.

"On Tuesday, Vice President Tareck El Aissami met with Russian Ambassador to Venezuela Vladimir Zaemsky at the building of the Ministry of Industries and National Production to discuss joint projects on strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries," the foreign minsitry said.

The ministry noted that Venezuelan Minister of Economy and Finance Simon Zerpa also attended the meeting.

The foreign ministry added that "261 agreements in the sphere of energy, industry and construction" have been signed between Venezuela and Russia so far.
