US, Chinese leaders to hold meeting in March

MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold a meeting in March, Deputy Secretary of US Agriculture Department Stephen Censky stated on Wednesday, cited by Reuters.

During a business forum, the US official stated that the US and Chinese leaders are expected to meet "sometime in March".

On February 11, US news portal Axios reported that the next meeting between Trump and Xi Jinping might take place in March at the US leader’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. However, on February 12, Trump stated that he does not currently have plans to hold a meeting with the Chinese leader, adding that he may extend the deadline for the trade deal with China, set to expire on March 1.
