Talks between Putin and Abe are expected to focus on the peace treaty issue

MOSCOW, January 22. /TASS/. The agenda of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s visit to Moscow only includes talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, a diplomatic source told TASS, adding that Abe would leave Moscow on Tuesday night.

"Prime Minister Abe’s agenda does not include any events except for a meeting with Vladimir Putin, he will leave the Russian capital on Tuesday night," the source said.

Talks between Putin and Abe are expected to focus on the peace treaty issue. In addition, the parties will also discuss ways to boost trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Japan.
