According to a diplomatic source, Shinzo Abe is accompanied by a press pool of over 80 reporters

MOSCOW, January 21. /TASS/. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has arrived in Moscow for the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, a source in the diplomatic circles informed TASS.

"The prime minister [Shinzo Abe] has already arrived in the Russian capital," the agency’s source confirmed.

According to the source, the Japanese PM is accompanied by a press pool of over 80 reporters.

The meeting between Putin and Abe will take place on January 22. This will be the 25th meeting between the Russian leader and the Japanese prime minister. The main issue discussed during the meeting will be the peace treaty between Russia and Japan. Besides, the sides will discuss the strategy of expanding the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
