Death toll in Cairo terrorist attacks grows to 4 people

CAIRO, December 28. /TASS/. The death toll in Friday's terrorist attack in Cairo has grown to four people after a Vietnamese tourist died in hospital from sustained injuries, Al Arabiya TV channel reported.

On Friday evening, an improvised explosive device detonated on the road near the Giza pyramids in Greater Cairo, hitting by the bus with 14 Vietnamese tourists on board. Two tourists died, and 12 people were injured in the blast - 10 tourists and two Egyptians, a driver and a tour guide. The tour guide later died in hospital, according to Egypt's Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly who took the situation under personal control.

Madbouly said two other tourists are in a serious condition. "They are currently in intensive care. One of them required an immediate surgery. The other one sustained a serious leg injury, he is being prepared for a surgery," the prime minister said.
