BERLIN, December 3. /TASS/. Germany’s Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Heiko Maas plans to hold negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin in Milan on Thursday, December 6, Federal Foreign Office Spokesperson Maria Adebahr stated at a briefing on Monday.

"The minister for foreign affairs will be at a meeting of the OSCE foreign ministers on Thursday. There will be no Normandy meeting there, but there will be negotiations with the Ukrainian foreign minister. Such negotiations are also planned with the Russian foreign minister," she said. Maas plans to discuss the issue of a diplomatic settlement of disputes, she said. Adebahr did not name any other details on this account.

German Speaker of Government Steffen Seibert added, for his part, that a meeting between political representatives in the Normandy format may take place in the future. He said he cannot name the exact date yet.

Speaking about the situation on the Kerch Strait and the Sea of Azov, Seibert stated that Russia should provide "free navigation" there. Ukraine’s ships should be able to freely enter their ports on the Sea of Azov shore, he said.
