Syria blames Turkey for chemical weapons attack on Aleppo

ASTANA, November 29. /TASS/. Aleppo was shelled by chemical projectiles with the support of foreign forces, primarily Turkey, Head of the Syrian delegation at the Astana talks, Syria’s Permanent Representative at the UN Bashar Jaafari said on Thursday.

"Terror groups couldn't have used chemical weapons, unless they had been given the green light by those who control these organizations," he emphasized.

"We know who supplied the chemical weapons to them," Jaafari said. "We mean the Turks, first and foremost," the envoy stressed.
