At least 37 people hurt as extremists fire shells with chlorine in Aleppo

All of those injured were taken to hospital with symptoms of suffocation

MOSCOW, November 24. /TASS/. Extremist armed groups fired shells loaded with chlorine in Aleppo on Saturday, the SANA agency reported citing a source in the police department. According to the Syrian governmental TV channel, at least 37 people suffered from the shelling.

There are women and children among those who were taken to hospitals with suffocation symptoms. Two teenagers are in intensive care unit in serious condition.

A police source told the TV channel that the shopping area on the Nil Street, where citizens were strolling in the evening, came under fire. Earlier, reports about the fall of chlorine shells came from the neighborhoods of Al-Khalidiyah and Jamiyat al-Zahr.

On Thursday, militant groups also fired at the western areas of Aleppo. Then five people were injured.
