VIENNA, November 2. /TASS/. Russian deputy envoy informed the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) that members of a Ukrainian neo-Nazi group were allowed to deliver a speech against the background of the US national flag at a US culture center in Kiev.

Russian deputy envoy Dmitry Balakin told the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna that some nations prefer to turn a blind eye to rampant extremism in the country.

"It got to a point where a member of the C14 neo-Nazi group was allowed to speak at the America House in Kiev, against the background of the American flag, where he boasted about results of 'cleaning' a Kiev railway station from Gypsies jointly with the city police," the Russian diplomat said.

He added that radical nationalism keeps flourishing in Ukraine.

"The Mirotvorets website, which designates dissenters [who must be persecuted], already has entries about the OSCE, and its "death lists" include journalists and even foreign diplomats," he said.

According to Balakin, the European Parliament has already noticed the crimes of radicals in Ukraine, but the OSCE still continues to hush up the problem.

"At last, the European Parliament noticed the crimes committed by radicals from extremist organizations Carpathian Sich, the Azov battalion, the Right Sector (outlawed in Russia) and C14 (also known as Sich, included in international lists of terrorist organizations). A resolution has been adopted to condemn the manifestations of neo-Nazism, racism and xenophobia. Why is this issue being hushed up at the OSCE? We call on the SMM (OSCE Special Monitoring Mission) to finally prepare a report on the issue," the Russian diplomat said.

Russia’s OSCE envoy, Alexander Lukashevich, has repeatedly urged the OSCE to react to the growth of radical nationalism in Ukraine.
