MOSCOW, October 30. /TASS/. Most Internet resources for recruiting terrorists are located in European countries, head of the scientific-consultative center at the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Anti-terrorist center Marianna Kochubei said.
"The bulk of information hubs for recruitment are located outside the CIS, most of them are in Europe," Kochubei said.
He added that more young people are likely to get involved in terrorist activities in the near future. "We believe that more young people are likely to get involved in terrorist activities in the near future," she said, adding that terrorism and extremism had become not only political, but also social and cultural phenomena.
According to Kochubei, terrorist organizations take advantage of young people’s need of social justice while recruiting them. In this connection, she also pointed to the growing neo-Nazi and radical anti-Islamic sentiments. "This is a reaction to the uncontrolled influx of migrants to Europe," she explained.
