DONETSK, July 21. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours shelling the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), head of the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said on Saturday.

"The total number of ceasefire violations by the Ukrainian armed forces stood at seven, while the overall number of munitions used by the Ukrainian military amounted to 134," the Donetsk News Agency quotes Yakubov as saying.

The village of Zaitsevo in northern Gorlovka, Dokuchayevsk and nearby inhabited community of Yasnoye, as well as the villages of Trudovskiye, Sosnovskoye, Kominternovo and Leninskoye in southern DPR came under fire. Two houses were damaged by shelling in Yasnoye.

Another ceasefire in the Donbass region agreed on at a meeting of the Contact Group on the settlement in eastern Ukraine by the beginning of the harvest season came into force on July 1. However, ceasefire violations have persisted.
