YESSENTUKI, July 13. /TASS/. Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte’s visit to Russia is planned for October 24, Italian Ambassador to Russia Pasquale Terracciano told TASS on Friday.

"Italy’s new Prime Minister Mr Conte has accepted [Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s invitation and will come to Russia on October 24," Terracciano said.

Italy’s new government was sworn in on June 1. The cabinet of ministers became the result of a compromise reached between the parties Lega and Movimento 5 Stelle, which received the majority of votes at the March 4 election.
