The Kiev forces’ shellings targeted the outskirts of Yasinovataya, the northern suburb of Gorlovka, including the Mayorsk checkpoint and the Zaytsevo village

DONETSK, May 2. /TASS/. A militia member was killed during the Kiev forces’ shellings of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, a spokesman for the DPR operation command Eduard Basurin told the Donetsk News Agency on Wednesday.

Ukraine’s forces fired more than 460 shells at the territory of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic over the past 24 hours, Head of the DPR mission to the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said earlier on Wednesday.

The Kiev forces’ shellings targeted the outskirts of Yasinovataya, the northern suburb of Gorlovka, including the Mayorsk checkpoint and the Zaytsevo village. Besides, Dokuchayevsk and the southern villages of Novolaspa, Leninskoye and Kominternovo came under fire.

Since March 30, the so-called Easter ceasefire has been in force in Donbass at the initiative of leaders of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. However, like during the previous ceasefire the shellings have not been fully stopped.
