MOSCOW, September 20 (Itar-Tass) - Statement made by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko gives grounds to hope for a soonest possible decision on the destiny of Vladislav Baumgertner, the Director General of the Russian mineral fertilizers manufacturer Uralkali, Yuri Ushakov, an aide to the Russian President said Friday.

“We expect this Russian citizen /Baumgertner/ to be handed to Russia,” Ushakov said.

“The process is getting a little bit dragged-out, but the statement President Lukashenko made yesterday gives grounds for hoping the problem will be settled in the most immediate future,” he said.
