MOSCOW, May 26 /TASS/. The Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations has evacuated about 300 injured and sick children to Russian hospitals and clinics, Russian Deputy Emergencies Minister Sergey Voronov told the Federation Council (upper house of Russian parliament) on Thursday.
"At present, 294 children have been delivered to public health institutions of Moscow and St. Petersburg," Voronov said adding the evacuation was still under way.
"Another plane will evacuate sick children [from Donbass] tomorrow," Voronov added.
