BLAGOVESHCHENSK, November 24. /TASS/. The Belogorsk city museum has created a virtual 3D tour of the main attractions of the city which has the second-largest population in the Amur region (over 65,000 residents), the press service of the city administration said on Thursday.
“The Past Side by Side with Present. Memorable Places in Belogorsk project has been implemented using a municipal grant,” museum director Valentina Tsimanovich said.
The virtual city tour is available on the museum website. “The teachers and students of the local schools can use the 3D tour to organize various cultural and educational events, concerning patriotic education in particular,” the press service noted.
The virtual city tour includes the first Russian monument to the ‘Polite People’, installed in central Belogorsk in 2015. The monument, dedicated to Crimea’s reunification with Russia, features a Russian military serviceman with a kitten in his hands. The monument is based on a photograph taken by TASS correspondent Alexander Ryumin.
