RIO DE JANEIRO, June 06. /ITAR-TASS/. Brazil and Argentina will play in the World Cup final, Brazilian team’s coach Luiz Felipe Scolari was quoted by local media as saying.

Brazil will play matches with Croatia, Mexico and Cameroon in Group A. Argentina is in Group F, where it faces Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nigeria and Iran. If both Brazil and Argentina finish first in their groups, they can only meet in the final at the Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

Scolari says he predicted the final with Brazil and Argentina after analyzing the tournament’s bracket, without specifying what was the analysis based upon. He also says he wants Argentina’s team to proceed to the final.
