PRETORIA, March 20, /ITAR-TASS/. South African paralympian Oscar Pistorius is selling the house where he shot his girlfriend to pay the legal fees, local media reported Thursday.

In order to pay the legal fees, Oscar Pistorius is selling the house where he shot his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. The incident occurred on Saint Valentine's Day in 2013.

The trial started March 3. Oscar Pistorius pleaded not guilty upon all accusations brought against him. These were intentional homicide and three cases of gun-control legislature breach.

In case Pistorius is found guilty of intentional homicide, the 27-year-old athlete may face a penalty of 25 years to life imprisonment.
