Two Alpine skiers will represent Montenegro in Sochi

PODGORICA, February 04, (ITAR-TASS). Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic expects the forthcoming Olympic Games in Sochi to be the best in the Olympic history. “Two Alpine skiers (Tarik Hadzic and Ivana Bulatovic) will represent Montenegro in Sochi,” Vujanovic told Itar-Tass First Deputy Director General Mikhail Gusman in an exclusive interview.

“We are going to participate in the games to show that Montenegro supports winter sports and to popularize winter kinds of sport through our participation in the Sochi Olympics,” the Montenegrin president emphasized.

“Of course, we understand that we are not going to show any impressive results but it is important for us to see the Montenegrin flag raised in Sochi,” Vujanovic went on to say, adding that he would be present at the flag hoisting ceremony to prove that Montenegro has an ambition to develop winter sports.

The Montenegrin president pledged to develop both collective and individual kinds of sport in Montenegro.
