MANCHESTER /UK/, December 6. /TASS/. CSKA Moscow lost 1:2 to UK’s Manchester United in the final round of the UEFA Champions League qualification stage on Tuesday night.

The first goal in the game was scored by CSKA’s Victor Vinicius Coelho dos Santos on the 45th minute. Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford responded with goals on the 64th and 66th minutes, respectively.

With this victory, Manchester United secured safe passage through to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, while CSKA will play in the 1/16 of the UEFA Europa League.

The final standings of the UEFA Group A are as follows: Manchester United (15 points), Basel (12 points), CSKA (nine points) and Benfica (zero points).

The drawing ceremony of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League will take place in Switzerland’s Nyon on December 11.
