MOSCOW, February 11. /TASS/. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has sent a greeting to participants in the Ski Track of Russia competition, saying the race has become a festive event for all fans of the ski sports, the Kremlin’s press service said on Saturday.
"The Ski Track of Russia will take place today in most regions across the country, and more than 1.5 million people will take part in the biggest ski race in Russia.
The event has become a major and truly festive event both for professionals and for those who enjoy skiing. Every year, the competition’s georgraphy is expanding, and new people of different ages, professions and preferences become followers of active living. And, of course, for many, these ski races become the beginning of road towards big sports victories and success," the telegram reads.
Putin expressed confidence the competition will be organized at a high level and will leave nice and unforgettable impressions among participants and audience.
